I am on a roll!! It has been over a month since I have written on my blog...There has been a lot going on and yet there hasn't. If that makes any sense at all!! LOL~ I finished my class last quarter and have started a new quarter. This time taking 2 classes which will leave me with two more classes to graduate with! So hopefully by this June I can graduate with my AA on Office Managing and find a job in that field! Granted I love the kids and the employers I work with now, but pretty soon they worn't need me, and the fact is when I started nannying I didn't think I would be at it more than a couple of years. Jan 3 of this year marked my 4 years with one of my employers and have been with my other employers for a year and a half now...(I think?!?). I love the kids because no matter how frusterated I had been with them that day I always leave with a smile or something to laugh about that they did that day and all that frusteration is gone. It lasts only for a little bit and is forgotten by the end of the day! I feel bad saying this right now but I am sooooo glad that I am not a mom right now! Don't get me wrong I love the kids that I watch and my niece and nephew! I can't get enough of them but when the weekend comes, boy am I glad I get time to myself. I know that if I was a mom I wouldn't get that time!
So what else...Thanksgiving this year I got mostly what I wanted. To relax and have a day to myself! I really honestly didn't think I would get chewed out that bad...I was wrong! LOL~ That night I ended up going and spending some time with two friends (who are brother and sister) and their family to play Volleyball!! I was REALLY happy to be playing some volleyball!!
Christmas was awesome! I spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day with my Bro., Allison, Toph, Allison's parents and my real father was there too. It was a lot of fun to watch Topher open his gifts...or at least try and open them. It was pretty much an all day thing in taking breaks and than we went and watched (cause on thanksgiving day and christmas day growing up it was always a tradition to watch a movie at the theatres...one that I LOVED!) the new Christmas Carol. It was cute and not what I expected!
New Years I was suppose to go to the dance and got lots of calls and text messages asking me where I was. My back was killing me and I was exhausted. To the point my nose was clogging up...it is a weird thing of mine that I absolutely hate and try to fight it!! LOL~ I ended up going to Chris and Allisons and celebrating the New Year with and playing the new Mario game and than watching the fireworks go off at the Space Needle on TV. I really like the new game, although I think it is hard with more than one player...until I tried playing it with just me that is...I now think it is much easier with more than one! LOL~
Now that it is a NEW year (which is hard to write 2010 on my dates...LOL~) I have had a lot on my mind and goals that I want to see if I can accomplish instead of just saying it. I went out and bought a Wii and the Wii fit plus. I wasn't planning on doing it. I mean I have wanted one but I had gone over to my friend Leilani and Mike's and they had gotten one for christmas and it was soooo much fun and a REALLY good work out! I hadn't even been on it that long and my hips were killing me! I felt it more in the 5 min of being on that than doing it on one or two machines for an hour! I haven't done as much as I would like since I am rarely home but when I am I enjoy the workout I get. Today I spent about 30 min just playing some of the games and than 30 min where I was basically stepping on it and off, and was able to watch what I was doing or watch TV. After about 8 min of doing the steps my hips were dying and I wanted to stop but I didn't because I really do what to get into shape and I think that this is a FUN way in doing it! I think I did a good thing in buying it.
What else is been going on? Ooooo...I started going to a chiropractor. He is someone in my church and have had the opprotunity to get to know him and have come to trust him. I do notice a difference even though I do hurt with the whole realigning and adjustments and when I over do myself. So I am trying to watch my pace...it's hard though cause I like to be on the go and all of this makes it hard cause I'm not just sleepy tired but my whole body losses it's energy pretty quickly when I am always doing something and I have to fight myself to keep going (which is not good...but I can't stand to not be doing something or going somewhere...I have to keep moving or I could go insane...not really but it feels that way!! :-) )
I still have two callings. The same ones...activities and multi stake activities... Hmmmm....I think that is about it... Sorry again that I don't write as often as I probably should!! Hope everone is having a good start to their New Year, and that it will get even better!
